Successful staff and administrators have known that dealing with inappropriate student behaviour in a consistent, open and supportive fashion is one of the keys to an effective school, while ignoring such behaviours is a recipe for poor morale and a negative school climate.
These new requirements encourage, support and bring consistency to all staff in their on-going efforts to create the kind of positive school climate that every student wants and deserves.
